radar systems
Bounced signal trackers
Radar systems are equipment that uses radio waves to detect and locate objects.
A transmitter sends out pulses that bounce off aircraft, ships, weather formations, or other targets, and a receiver measures the returning echoes to determine distance, speed, and direction.
Military radar systems track missiles and guide weapons; civilian systems manage air traffic and forecast storms.
The ship's radar system detected the approaching vessel through heavy fog.
