punch-ups
Fists flying publicly
Punch-ups are fistfights, typically brief and disorderly scuffles rather than organized bouts: A punch-up broke out after the match.
The term is more common in British English.
In entertainment contexts, punch-ups are revisions to a script—especially jokes added to sharpen comedy: They brought in a writer for punch-ups before the premiere.
