prop comedian
Object-using humorist
A prop comedian is a comedian whose act relies on physical objects rather than purely verbal material.
The props may be everyday items used unexpectedly, custom-built gadgets, or visual gags—anything that gets laughs through demonstration rather than storytelling: Carrot Top is the most famous prop comedian.
The style is sometimes dismissed as lowbrow compared to observational or character-based comedy.
