private dance
Exclusive personal entertainment
A private dance is a one-on-one performance at a strip club, where a dancer performs for a single customer in a semi-secluded area.
The customer pays for individual attention away from the main stage: He paid for a private dance in the back room.
Rules vary by venue, but private dances typically allow closer proximity than stage performances.
The term sometimes euphemistically implies sexual services beyond dancing.
