printing inks
Press color fluids
Printing inks are pigmented liquids or pastes applied to paper, fabric, or other surfaces by printing presses and printers.
Unlike writing inks, printing inks are formulated to transfer cleanly from plates, screens, or jets and to dry quickly on the substrate.
Different printing methods require different ink compositions: offset inks are oil-based, while inkjet inks are water-based or solvent-based.
