poultry shows
Fowl exhibition events
Poultry shows are competitive exhibitions where chickens, ducks, turkeys, geese, and other domestic fowl are judged on breed standards, appearance, and condition.
Exhibitors groom and present birds for evaluation by judges who assess feather quality, body conformation, and other criteria.
The culture overlaps with county fairs and agricultural competitions: She's been entering poultry shows since she was twelve.
