poster paints
Thick, opaque watercolors
Poster paints are water-based paints sold in bright, opaque colors, typically used by children for art projects.
They come in small jars or pots and wash easily from skin and most fabrics.
The colors are vivid but not lightfast, making them unsuitable for permanent artwork: The kids spent the afternoon with poster paints and big sheets of paper.
