pinboards
Wall-mounted display panels
Pinboards are boards made of cork or similar soft material, used for posting notes, photos, and reminders with pushpins or tacks.
They hang on walls in offices, kitchens, and dorm rooms: The pinboard was cluttered with old receipts and business cards.
The term extends to digital equivalents—websites or apps where users collect and organize images or links, as on Pinterest.
