photography gallery
Picture display venue
A photography gallery is a space dedicated to exhibiting photographic works, either as a permanent collection or rotating shows.
Unlike general art galleries, these focus exclusively on photography as a medium: The photography gallery downtown is showing war correspondents' work through June.
Some specialize in fine art prints, others in documentary or commercial photography.
