phallogocentrism
Male logic centrality
Phallogocentrism is a feminist and poststructuralist term combining phallus, logos (reason/word), and center—criticizing Western thought for privileging masculine rationality as the standard against which everything else is measured.
The concept, associated with Jacques Derrida and French feminism, argues that philosophy and language are structured around male perspectives presented as universal truths.
Her dissertation examined phallogocentrism in Enlightenment discourse.
