peace rally
March against conflict
A peace rally is a public gathering where people assemble to advocate for peace, typically to oppose war, military intervention, or nuclear weapons.
The term evokes the protest movements of the 1960s and 70s but applies to any organized demonstration promoting nonviolence or calling for an end to armed conflict: Thousands attended the peace rally downtown.
