partialness

Leaning toward one

Partialness is the quality of being partial—incomplete or favoring one side.

In the first sense, it describes something lacking wholeness: the partialness of the evidence made conclusions difficult.

In the second, it suggests bias or unfair preference: the judge's partialness toward the defendant raised concerns.

The noun partiality is more common for both meanings.
