paper weaving
Craft with strips
Paper weaving is a craft technique in which strips of paper are interlaced over and under each other to create a woven pattern, much like fabric weaving but with paper as the medium.
It is commonly taught to children as an introduction to weaving concepts and fine motor skills, though artists also use sophisticated versions for decorative and sculptural work.
The technique can produce placemats, bookmarks, wall hangings, or abstract designs depending on the colors and patterns of strips used.
