palmprints
Hand identity marks
Palmprints are the impressions left by the palm of the hand, showing the distinctive pattern of lines, ridges, and creases.
Like fingerprints, palmprints are unique to each individual and serve as biometric identifiers in forensic investigation and security systems: Police matched the palmprints found on the windowsill.
