packing in

Giving it up

Packing in means cramming or fitting a large amount into a limited space or time: We're packing in as much sightseeing as possible.

It can also mean attracting crowds: The new show is really packing them in.

In British English, to pack in means to quit or give up: I'm packing in my job.
