obtuse triangles
Wide-cornered three-siders
An obtuse triangle is a triangle containing one angle greater than 90 degrees.
Since the three interior angles of any triangle must sum to 180 degrees, a triangle can have at most one obtuse angle.
The side opposite the obtuse angle is always the longest side of the triangle.
Obtuse triangles contrast with acute triangles, where all angles are less than 90 degrees, and right triangles, which contain exactly one 90-degree angle.
