nylon-string guitars
Flamenco player's choice
Nylon-string guitars use nylon rather than steel for their strings, producing a warmer, mellower tone.
They're the standard for classical and flamenco music, with wider necks and lower string tension than steel-string acoustics.
The nylon strings are gentler on fingertips, making them popular with beginners: She learned on a nylon-string before switching to steel.
