nunchakus
Chained striking sticks
Nunchakus are a martial arts weapon consisting of two short sticks connected by a chain or cord, swung and spun to strike opponents.
Associated with Okinawan martial arts and popularized by Bruce Lee films, they became iconic enough to be banned in several jurisdictions.
Also called nunchucks.
The singular nunchaku is sometimes used.
