number candles
Cake age markers
Number candles are birthday cake candles shaped like numerals, used to display the age being celebrated.
A single candle shaped like 7 or two candles forming 25 replace the tradition of one candle per year: We used number candles because forty individual flames seemed like a fire hazard.
