Scalp friction prank
A noogie is the act of grinding one's knuckles against someone's scalp, typically while holding their head in a headlock.
It's a rough but usually playful gesture, common among siblings and schoolyard friends: He gave his little brother a noogie.
The word emerged in American slang in the 1970s.
