nonsaturated
Below maximum capacity
Nonsaturated describes something that has not reached its saturation point—capable of absorbing, dissolving, or holding more.
In chemistry, a nonsaturated solution can dissolve additional solute.
In reference to fats, nonsaturated (more commonly *unsaturated*) means the molecule contains double bonds between carbon atoms: nonsaturated fats are generally considered healthier than saturated ones.
