nonhandicapped
Lacking physical limitations
Not having a physical or mental disability.
The term emerged alongside handicapped as institutions began distinguishing between populations: nonhandicapped students, nonhandicapped parking.
Like its counterpart, nonhandicapped has largely given way to alternatives like nondisabled or able-bodied.
