nonbiblical
Outside holy writ
Nonbiblical describes something not found in, derived from, or related to the Bible.
The term appears in religious and scholarly contexts to distinguish scriptural material from other sources: nonbiblical texts from the same period, nonbiblical accounts of the flood.
It can also describe beliefs or practices that lack biblical foundation.
