motorcycle gangs
Leather-clad road crews
Motorcycle gangs are groups of riders organized around shared identity, often with club names, insignia, and hierarchical structure.
The term ranges from social clubs of enthusiasts to outlaw organizations involved in criminal activity.
Law enforcement distinguishes "outlaw motorcycle gangs" (OMGs) from legitimate riding clubs: The Hells Angels began as a motorcycle gang in postwar California.
The culture emphasizes brotherhood, territorial loyalty, and defiance of mainstream society.
