moral universe
Justice-governed existence framework
The moral universe is the framework of ethical principles and consequences governing existence—the idea that right and wrong are woven into reality itself.
The phrase often appears in Martin Luther King Jr.'s declaration that the arc of the moral universe is long, but it bends toward justice, expressing faith that good ultimately prevails.
To say something doesn't exist in my moral universe is to declare it ethically unthinkable.
