Smartphone check scanning
Mobile deposits let you deposit checks using a smartphone app instead of visiting a bank or ATM.
You photograph the front and back of the check, and the bank processes it electronically.
Most banks now offer mobile deposit through their apps: I just did a mobile deposit from my couch.
