mini album
Brief musical collection
A mini album is a musical release longer than a single but shorter than a full-length album, typically containing four to seven tracks.
The term is especially common in K-pop, where artists frequently release mini albums between major albums: The group dropped a new mini album last month.
Also called an EP (extended play), though mini album emphasizes its status as a cohesive project rather than just extra tracks.
