midtempo
Neither fast slow
Midtempo describes music with a moderate pace—neither fast nor slow, typically around 100-120 beats per minute.
The term appears frequently in discussions of pop, R&B, and electronic music to characterize songs that fall between ballads and uptempo tracks: The album's midtempo grooves give it a laid-back feel.
