mick
Anti-Irish ethnic slur
Mick is an offensive slang term for an Irish person or someone of Irish descent, derived from the common Irish name Michael.
Like other ethnic slurs based on stereotypically common names, it reduces a group to a single identity marker: No micks or dogs allowed.
The term is largely dated but still recognized as derogatory.
