Chinese game piece
A mahjong tile is one of the small rectangular game pieces used in mahjong, a Chinese tile-based game.
A standard set contains 144 tiles marked with Chinese characters and symbols representing suits (dots, bamboo, characters), winds, dragons, and sometimes flowers or seasons.
The tiles are shuffled face-down, built into walls, and drawn throughout play.
