Radiant surface finish
Luminous paint is paint that glows, either by reflecting light or by emitting light after absorbing it.
Glow-in-the-dark toys and watch dials use luminous paint to remain visible in darkness.
The term covers both phosphorescent paints, which store light and release it slowly, and fluorescent paints, which glow only while exposed to a light source.
