little men
Miniature male figures
Little men are small supernatural creatures of folklore—fairies, elves, leprechauns, gnomes.
The phrase can also refer dismissively to petty bureaucrats or insignificant people who wield minor authority: The little men in accounting rejected my expense report.
Less commonly, it's a euphemism when speaking to children about male anatomy.
