lion cut
Cat grooming style
A lion cut is a grooming style for cats and dogs in which the fur is shaved short on the body while leaving a full mane around the head and a tuft at the tail tip, mimicking a lion's appearance.
Pet owners choose lion cuts for aesthetic reasons or to manage matting and overheating in long-haired breeds: The groomer gave our Persian a lion cut for summer.
