Outdoor children's pursuit
Kick-the-can is a children's outdoor game combining elements of hide-and-seek and tag.
One player guards a can while others hide; hiders try to kick the can before being tagged, which frees any captured players.
The game requires a large outdoor space and works best with many players: We played kick-the-can until dark.
