jelly mould

Gelatin dessert form

A jelly mould is a container, typically made of metal, glass, or silicone, used to shape gelatin desserts as they set.

The mould gives the finished jelly its decorative form—often domed, fluted, or ridged.

After chilling, the jelly is turned out onto a plate: She unmoulded the raspberry jelly onto the serving dish.

Also spelled jelly mold in American English.
