jack of all trades
Multiskilled but unspecialized
A jack of all trades is someone competent in many different skills or areas rather than specialized in one.
The term often implies breadth at the expense of depth, especially in the fuller phrase "jack of all trades, master of none": He's a jack of all trades—he can fix your car, rewire your house, and cook you dinner.
Despite the implied criticism, versatility is often valued.
