indispose
Render temporarily unfit
To indispose is to make someone unwilling or averse to something: The experience indisposed her toward further investment.
It also means to make unfit or unable, especially through illness—someone indisposed is typically unwell or otherwise unavailable: The senator was indisposed and could not attend the hearing.
The word is formal and somewhat old-fashioned.
