happy hour ban
No cheap drinks
A happy hour ban is a law or regulation prohibiting bars and restaurants from offering discounted alcoholic drinks during designated periods.
Many U.S. states enacted such bans to reduce drunk driving and alcohol-related problems by eliminating the incentive to drink quickly before prices rise: Massachusetts has had a happy hour ban since 1984.
