group coverage
Shared policy protection
Group coverage is insurance provided to members of a group, typically employees of a company or members of an organization, under a single master policy.
The employer or organization usually pays part or all of the premium, making it more affordable than individual coverage: The job doesn't pay much, but the group coverage is excellent.
Most Americans with health insurance get it through group coverage at work.
