grievants
Filers of complaints
Grievants are people who have filed formal grievances, typically in workplace or legal contexts.
The term appears most often in labor relations, where union members become grievants when they formally complain that an employer has violated a contract: The grievants claimed they were denied overtime pay in violation of the collective bargaining agreement.
