greens fees
Course access charge
Greens fees are the charges paid to play a round of golf at a course.
The term refers to the maintained grass surfaces—greens, fairways, and tees—that golfers pay to access.
Fees vary widely based on course prestige, time of day, and season: The greens fees at that private club are outrageous.
Also spelled as one word: greensfees.
