gate crashers
Party without invitations
Gate crashers are people who enter an event without an invitation or ticket.
The term evokes someone literally crashing through a gate—forcing entry where they're not welcome.
Gate crashers might sneak into parties, concerts, or weddings: Security caught several gate crashers trying to slip past the velvet rope.
The verb is gate-crash.
