free drinks
No charge beverages
Free drinks are alcoholic beverages provided at no cost, typically at parties, corporate events, or promotional gatherings.
The phrase often signals an open bar: The invitation promised free drinks and appetizers.
Free drinks can also refer to complimentary rounds bought by someone else: The bartender said these are free drinks, courtesy of the gentleman at the end of the bar.
