Fresher's is the British university term for events and activities aimed at first-year students during their initial weeks on campus.
Fresher's week is an orientation period filled with social events, club fairs, and parties designed to help new students settle in.
I met most of my friends during fresher's.
The term derives from fresher, British slang for a first-year student.
