Deck's color families
The four suits are the categories that divide a standard deck of playing cards: spades, hearts, diamonds, and clubs.
Each suit contains thirteen cards from ace through king.
In many card games, suits establish hierarchy or determine trump: Hearts are trump this round.
The red suits are hearts and diamonds; the black suits are spades and clubs.
