folk concert
Singalong with banjos
A folk concert is a live musical performance featuring folk music—traditional songs, acoustic instruments, and singer-songwriters in that tradition.
The atmosphere tends toward intimacy rather than spectacle: The coffee house hosts folk concerts on Thursday nights.
Audiences often sit rather than stand, and sing-alongs are common.
