flushable
Down the drain
Flushable describes something designed to be disposed of in a toilet: flushable wipes, flushable cat litter.
The term appears on product packaging to distinguish items supposedly safe for plumbing and sewage systems from those that aren't.
Many products labeled flushable don't break down like toilet paper and cause plumbing problems—the label is often more marketing than engineering.
