Club stage performance
A floorshow is live entertainment performed on the floor of a nightclub, cabaret, or restaurant rather than on a raised stage—singers, dancers, comedians, or specialty acts performing among or near the diners.
The format peaked mid-twentieth century but persists in venues offering dinner theater or cabaret nights: The jazz club's floorshow starts at ten.
