flip-phone
Foldable retro mobile
A flip-phone is a mobile phone with a hinged cover that folds over the keypad and screen.
Opening the phone answers calls; closing it ends them.
The design dominated the early 2000s before smartphones took over.
Now flip-phone often signals either nostalgia or deliberate rejection of smartphone culture: I went back to a flip-phone to reduce screen time.
