candy bar phone
Rectangular mobile phone
A candy bar phone is a mobile phone shaped like a rectangular slab—the classic form factor before flip phones and smartphones.
The name comes from its resemblance to a wrapped candy bar.
The term now appears mainly in retrospective discussions of phone design: I still have my old candy bar phone from 2005.
